Follow the story of America's civic unraveling through the journey of scientist Robert Putnam, author of the groundbreaking book "Bowling Alone." While inspiring community building in neighborhoods, Bob explores urgent civic questions regarding our democracy's present crisis. A Discussion will follow the film, including opportunities to "join" in our community. Provided in partnership with University of Missouri Extension of Greene County.

The Republic Branch Library opened in 1961 as a consolidation of book deposits held at several locations in this western Greene County city. The branch has relocated five times as use of the library continues to grow.
