Learn how to navigate government contracting and discover eligibility for small business certifications.
Is your business interested in government contracting? Small businesses that are woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned or minority-owned may qualify for federal preferences, along with those in Historically Underutilized Business Zones. Allen Waldo, Missouri APEX Accelerator counselor, will guide you through the certification process and contracting opportunities at no cost, funded by the United States Department of Defense and University of Missouri Extension. Krishin Thadani, outreach and marketing specialist at the U.S. Small Business Administration, will also speak briefly and be available for questions. Lunch will be provided at this event.
